Possibly: Chronic irritation from uncontrolled acid reflux can cause structural changes in the esophagus, larynx, vocal cords, pharynx and tongue (usually not permanent except for strictures). A yellow plaque to the tongue may also be suggestive of a candida infection. Your doctor can help you sort this out.
