See your PCP: for examination and tests to rule out temporal arteritis. Initially the temple pain may be the only presenting symptom with the temporal and occipital regions being the most common locations. Tender spots or nodules may be present in the scalp, especially over inflamed arteries. See your PCP for evaluation, tests and diagnosis.

More likely jaw: It is likely from your jaw (grinding or clenching the jaw especially when there is malocclusion) . see dentist first. If the jaws checked out, see neurologist.
