A member asked:

I have an area in left forehead area, not the temple, but above end of eyebrow on bone there, it feels sore to touch. i get a lot of of tension and migraine headaches, is this from the headaches? do i have temporal arthritis? no other symptoms, help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The temporal artery runs in front in your ear up into the forehead, not at the edge of the eyebrow. It is tender to touch when temporal arteritis is present. A blood test, Sed Rate is elevated also. Muscle contraction, tension headaches may be associated with some scalp or forehead tenderness. If you still have concerns, get examined by your physician or a neurologist.
