Elevated BP: only one measurement of BP that is elevated does not mean hypertension, specially during a class assignment, maybe at that time there was a degree of nervousness which elevates the heart rate and BP. BP should be repeated one or two other times when at home and relaxed, if it is till elevated then it is Hypertension ( low salt diet, weight loss can help lower BP, and medication by doctor's order)

Monitor and see PCP: you need to monitor your pulse and blood pressure for 1-2 weeks, keep low salt diet, avoid too much caffeine, and make an appointment with your PCP . Hypertension is not very common at your age and always needs further workup besides medication to control it.
