BP supine standing : When BP is measured the center of the cuff on the arm must be at heart level (check wiki). When supine some need pillow under arm. Not doing gives false low BP. When standing if arm down at side BP may be as much as + 12 too high. Depending on arm length&height. Normal for heart rate to go up when standing. To keep you from fainting. Discuss other reason s with Dr.
