Controversial: Association of infection agents including H.Pylori with ITP were suggested, but no direct prove. Results from H.Pylori and ITP were conflicting. Routine screening for H.Pylori in ITP patient is probably not recommended, because treating H.pylori in these pts does not improve platelet count. But, for severe refractory ITP, testing for H.Pylori can be considered. Response may be seen in these pts.
