Gastro/esophagitis: that copper taste you described probably meant you had upper GI bleeding. you need to see a GI specialist ASAP -- in the mean time you could also take Prilosec or Zantac (ranitidine) twice a day (they are over the counter meds, if you didn't take meds for GERD)
