Duration&dosage of treatment of nonerosive reflux esophagitis? have taken protonix 2x20mg for a month, still feeling acid, want to switch to nexium (esomeprazole).

May be warranted.: If you were diagnosed with nonerosive esophagitis and protonix does not seem to be taking care of the symptoms after taking it regularly for a month, it may be appropriate to switch to a different PPI such as Nexium (esomeprazole). I would recommend continuing antireflux measures and returning to see your gastroenterologist. Good luck.
