Yes: A CRI and or nuclear scan are much more reliable for the detection of small tumors; however, for general screening, the ultrasound will certainly suffice. Please obtain an endocrinology evaluation for "abnormal TSH ( high or low???)

Thyroid ultrasound reveals slight increase in size of lobes from 3 5x1.2x.9 mm to 4.1x2.1x 1.2mm and isthmus is .1. No nodule. Tsh slightly high inspite of synthroid.Have hashimoto's is the increase abnormal? Could it be cancer?

TSH, T3, T4 all normal TPO antibodies are 2200. Was told it's Hashimotos and put on 15mg Armour thyroid 3 months ago. I'm confused if the TSH is normal then why the Armour? Have all symptoms of hypothyroid. Also now my period is 2 weeks late. ?
My tsh level showing 9.1 . my doc did an anti tpo check value is normal (26) . also did thyroid scan , it is also normal . doctor didn't prescribe any medicine. bit confused what could be reason for high TSH
