Lymphoid hyperplasia: Gastric nodular lymphoid hyperplasia of the stomach is somewhat rare. Usually, it is associated with H. pylori infection. Hopefully, that has been tested for as well as EBV and other infectious causes. Cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasias are thought to be exaggerated reactions to external antigens through trauma, tattoos, insect bites, zoster, etc. They can resemble lymphoma, which must be ruled out.
