A member asked:

How long it might take to replete the b12 storage in the body from low 200pg/ml and see improvement in deficiency symptoms, with a 1000mcg/day dose?

If your B12 is low: chances are you need to replace it the rest of your life. Using 2 mg by mouth may over ride the problem with absorption. Check your level periodically and keep it above 550 ( European Standard) This can be achieved in most cases with bi weekly B12 (1.2mg to 1.8 mg under the tongue liquid) This will run you 10-15 dollars a year. I have about 350 patients on this form.
