I am taking aztor 10 mg for cholesterol.now the cholesterol level is in normal. can i stop the medicine right now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cholesterol: Treating elevated blood lipids is not a short term thing. If the diet and exercise have been modified and the lipids have lowered enough, that might be enough if continued. When diet and exercise need medication added to get the lipids down, usually long term or life long lipid medication will be required to keep the lipid levels from going back up. Talk to your doctor about your situation.
