Acne: Days to months. Wash face daily, avoid oily cream. Proactive products are good if you cannot go to doctor. Otherwise revisit with pcp w/ interest in acne or see detmatologist.

Do not use together: When you are sick and need Clindamycin you want to stop your HCG program which is done in cycles anyway. Clindamycin can cause problems by altering gut ecology making gut leaky to toxins which interferes with hypothalamus and HCG acts at these level help with weight loss so it would interfere with progress. Kills bacteria: Benzoyl peroxide creates oxygen when in contact with skin. The bacteria causing acne cannot live in the presence of oxygen so actually dies. It also assists in removing dead cells that cause the pores to get plugged which also leads to acne formation.

A 42-year-old member asked:

How long does it take for benzaclin (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) to really work?

At least 8 weeks: When using any topical medication for acne, it takes at least 8 weeks to see the optimal efficacy of the medication. In my opinion, it is best to use several treatments for acne instead of one as there are multiple causes to acne. Your benzoyl peroxide/ Clindamycin is a good choice for the bigger bumps, but you may need a retinoid to help with clogged pores and oil.
