Dr. Henry Ng answered

Skin redness: Benzaclin (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) is a topical antibiotic of benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin, commonly prescribed for acne. Caution should be used if patients have an allergy to either medication or have a history of ulcerative or infectious colitis. The most common side effects are dry, red, scaling skin or a burning sensation.
