Yes, no problem: Officially, you should discard it. Unofficially (and how I manage my own personal medications) drug expiration dates are very conservative. Almost all drugs retain their potency, and carry no increased risk of side effects, far beyond the expiration date. This assumes it hasn't been in an unusually hot environment, like spending summer in a car's glove compartment.
