Medications: Typically women use a pain reliever or anti inflammatory medication for temporary relief. Any of the non steroidal agents will work well - naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin, meloxicam, etc. If the pain is persistent the hormonal contraceptives may be a good option for you.
