A member asked:

Im experiencing really bad cramps during my menstrual cycle and im just wondering how i can lessen the pain of these cramps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Medications: Typically women use a pain reliever or anti inflammatory medication for temporary relief. Any of the non steroidal agents will work well - naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin, meloxicam, etc. If the pain is persistent the hormonal contraceptives may be a good option for you.
