It depends: If it energizes you, take it in the morning. If it makes you drowsy, take it at night. Most people take it in the morning.

Better in morning: Antidepressants like paxil (paroxetine) tend to make you more alert so if taken at bedtime they could keep you from falling asleep. Tazodone tends to make you sleepy so it's best taken at night. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
