Diuretic ↑water loss: The 5 lb gain is due to ↑ed body water & suggests you have a problem with excess body water retention, mostly commonly due to heart stiffness (diastolic congestive heart failure), ↓ed albumen (liver not healthy) &/or partial kidney failure (or other possibilities). Best strategy is address/solve these underlying issues so that you no longer need the diuretic. Few people know that eat right is HFLC
