A member asked:

My xray shows periostitis of gluteal tuberosity. is there a way to heal this? my legs have hurt for months. please help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone pain : Periostitis implies either chronic inflammation or a bone infection, perhaps by the amount of pressure or friction you apply to that part of your hindquarters. If you know that much about what is going on with the bone, you should have gotten some feedback from the doc who ordered the x-Ray or scan. See an ortho ASAP for a treatment plan !!
