Tendonitis and......: enthesopathy-fancy term for tendonitis. Specifically inflammation of the tendon at the bone attachment or the origin of the muscle in question. Origin is where muscle originates from or anchors to, so when it contacts it can move the joint (in this case the hip). Periostitis is inflammation of the periosteum, the outer fibrous covering of bone. Contains many nerves and vessels. Painful condition.
