Dual non-traditional: Burning=virtually always neurologic origin.Contrary to typical approach like blocks of spinal nerves, new & 150 yr old evidence shows most such pain is due to peripheral nerves, not central.Osteopathic history & exam may give info about structural causes (ex. pinching of nerves) & manipulation may correct.Additionally, neuroprolotherapy (relatively new procedure)-very effective for this pain type.
