Not Ca: The presence of colon cancer based for the most part on Weinbergs 3 hit theory where unless one has a congenital form of polyposis it takes three separate events over many years to induce cancer. Maroon stools suggest a bleeding problem which could be related to vascular malformation or internal hemorrhoid. Cancer as a cause at age 20 rare. If problem persists then colonoscopy indicated.
