Dr. K. Epley answered

Yes: Your medical doctor can refill your prescription when your medication runs out. Plan ahead and call for a refill before you run out so that you don't suddenly stop as this medication can have some unwanted side effects when you stop abruptly.

Many: physicians (GP's, internists, family practice doctors, etc) feel comfortable prescribing buspirone when indicated. However, not all physician elect to work with psychotropic medications.

Pharmacists refill: but doctors prescribe first. If you run out, check with your pharmacist to see if your doctor OK'ed some number of refills. If not, you'll have to visit your doc again.

Refills: I can't speak for everyone, but many of us are only comfortable renewing medications after evaluating a patient, secure in the knowledge that we are fulfilling that patients medical needs, that they've been properly diagnosed, that they are being treated safely. If you're comfortable with an evaluation and securing treatment with a healthtap provider, please feel free connect with us. Good luck!
