Your surgeon/ physician should know the specific type of cancer you had, how much spread there was, if all cancer was removed, etc. Those individuals should be able to provide a better estimate when looking at all of the variables. Throat Cancer: It depends on what kind of cancer, epithelial, lymphoma etc. what stage or how extensive the cancer was and how you were treated. You will require long term follow up with your ENT / head and neck surgeon as well as your oncologist.
