A member asked:

What percent of people exposed to a cold virus actually catch a cold? if you touch an infected surface, what is the probability of exposure?

Depends...: It all depends in many factors: What type of virus/bacteria the other person has, how strong is your immune system, how much of the other person's respiratory droplets you are exposed to if that is the mode of transmission of that specific germ, among others. No way to predict with certainty. Make sure you wash your hands well and do not get close to someone that is sick if possible.
