See below: Colds are caused by viruses usually rhinoviruses. They are not caused by bacteria. Getting colds several times a year is not unusual. Frequent contact with young children will increase your risk. Avoid touching your face. Use hand sanitizer frequently. Eat a healthy diet. Get adequate sleep. Hopefully your cold frequency will decrease. Good luck.
