CBT vs. Meds: Agree with previous, never make a change without doctor. Depending on your diagnosis and specific situation CBT could help you in a way that would reduce the need for medication. Research suggesting that CBT does indeed correlate with neurobiological changes in the brain. That said, there are likely just as many situations where it may not be effective. Talk to your doctor.
