Finger infected: If a finger becomes very painful after removing a cactus spine, especially if you can't move it, or if the finger is swollen and warm it's likely a bacterial infection in the finger. This needs urgent attention because if the infection gets worse it can damage the delicate structures in your finger and you could loose some function. See your physician TODAY or go to Urgent Care or Hospital.
