A member asked:

When i bend my neck my little finger on right hand and thumb on left hand tingles/shock as well as a part of both legs. nothing in neck or spine. no paindr says normal as you age. occurs because bending neck pulls on spinal cord. is this correct?

Since you experience tingling in both legs, It does suggest impinging the spinal cord rather than a nerve root on one side of the neck. As far as this being from normal ageing, a neurologist can explain the implications of this better than I can.

This is not normal aging phenomenon but does represent spinal cord irritation. Cervical stenosis, MS, B12 deficiency some of the potential mechanisms. See a neurologist
