A member asked:

Is a hiv ag/ab eia and a hiv-1 rna test conclusive at 5 months ? i also had a 4th gen test 3 months ago both negative. blood was cold if that matters

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV negative: If your fourth generation test and RNA tests are both negative at 5 months after an HIV exposure, as long as you haven't had any other exposures in the meantime, then yes you would be considered HIV-negative.
