Tendinitis: not uncommon to get rather dramatic tendinitis during pregnancy with over use. Rest. Ice to reduce swelling. No Advil Motrin or aspirin. Tylenol (acetaminophen) ok to use for pain if needed. Limit to no more than 2000-3000mg in 24 hours. Some of the fluid women retain during pregnancy can lead to some significant swelling. If no better or worse in next 2-3 days see doctor re rare complication of pregnancy (DVT)
