Not really: Your liver increases your production of cholesterol, not necessarily the food you eat. Cholesterol is the building block of all hormones in the body and is necessary for life. However high cholesterol or very low cholesterol is not ideal. High cholesterol must be balanced with good cholesterol (HDL) so that it can be removed from the body. Fish oil has good omegas 3's for our body.
