Is taking fish oil good for helping to control your cholesterol? fish oil

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fish oil/omega-3 : Over-the-counter omega-3 supplements are not regulated, inconclusive if they are helpful. The good news is the American Heart Association states that they do help lower triglycerides, heart attacks, and stroke. The fish recommended is non-fried oily fish. Fish to consider are salmon, tuna, sardines, herring, mackerel twice a week.
