Arterial blockage: a "normal" stress test does not mean an absence of partial blockage, so yes you could still develop plaque fracture/rupture with a secondary clot and occlusion. A negative stress test does not unfortunately confer immortality! ongoing or newly evolving symptoms MUST always be thoroughly investigated
