Combining toxins ...: Combining the toxic effects of alcohol and nicotine on one's brain and other parts of his body can cause noticeable problems. When symptoms show up, it's time to return to the doctor to work out a plan to stop taking in the toxins. The doctor can also check to see if there is an underlying disease that is causing the shaking, with the alcohol and nicotine exaggerating the underlying disorder.

If you are getting: Tremor, you have become physically dependent on alcohol. You need to get help to safely stop. If you stop without proper help, the 'shakes' will get worse and can lead to a full-blown alcohol withdrawal syndrome, with very high blood pressure and pulse, potential cardiac risks, as well as the potential for seizures and dt's. Talk to your doctor and get a referral to a treatment program now.
