Liver tests/imaging: Liver and gall bladder are located in right upper abdomen. Biliary colic is usually periodic and typically doesn't occur on a daily basis unless infection is present. Then you would expect fever. If stools are light and urine is dark an obstructive stone may be in biliary tree. Early hepatitis from any cause can liver tenderness. Consider CBC, liver function studies and gall bladder ultrasound .
