Best see doctor: I can not recommend exactly one antibiotic over another without a proper examination, most commonly used is amoxicillin. Depending on the severity of the infection you may need additional treatment. Your infection is due to bacteria under the gum rather then the grinding. Antibiotic can not solve, and repair the infection without removing the reason of the infection. See a dentist.

See a dentist ASAP: A tooth abscess or gum abscess won't go away without treatment. A dental abscess is a collection of pus that forms in your teeth or gums as a result of a bacterial infection. Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or NSAIDs OTC for pain control. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by draining it and getting rid of the infection. See a dentist ASAP.

See dentist: You should not take any antibiotic without first seeing a dentist for an exam to determine what is gong on. The swollen gums, cheek and grinding all need to be treated by a dentist. Don't delay

Not DIY, see a Pro: Popping pills is probably not the answer. Antibiotics limit spread of infection. If you have gum damage because of a parafunctional habit, but do not have an infection, taking pills is harmful not helpful. The cause of the swelling has to be determined, and the cause treated, for you to get relief. See your Dentist ASAP. Referral for Orthodontic and Periodontic consultations may be in order.

Rx: If your swelling is due to a bacterial infection, most dentists prescribe Amoxicillin. Teeth grinding by itself will not cause an infection
