On wellbut sr 6days. feel very "wired" & anxious. prescribed for anxiety, i know that's initial w/dosage but is this best for my anxiety? frustrated.

If you have: significant caffeine intake that could be the problem. I usually have patient's taper down caffeine before starting wellbutrin (bupropion). It can take a couple of weeks for these wired symptoms to V on wellbutrin (bupropion). Although SSRI's are used more often for anxiety than wellbutrin (bupropion) - recent studies are showing that it can be beneficial. Take care.
