Prob benign: Do you mean 3/4 inch in circumference? Sounds like muscle imbalance. ALS normally does not affect one arm by the way.

NOT ALS: You have a bit larger asymmetry than most, but not uncommon to see side to side differences. Marked asymmetry may be seen in porencephalic cysts, or even childhood strokes. This is NOT at all c/w ALS
