Hot flashes?: Is your son having intermittent fevers? Or, does he just feel warm to you? I'd look at the symptoms and situation around the events - if he is acting fine and not complaining of anything I suspect that what you are noticing is normal; however, if you see symptoms or your observation continues have him seen by his pediatrician to ensure that all is well.
