What exercise?: If you're trying to lose weight, your exercise should be primarily cardio, meaning running, swimming, dance -- anything to get your heart rate high and that makes you really sweat. Combine that with diet and calorie restriction and your weight will start to come down. If you are gaining weight you may be doing muscle-strengthening exercises which hold onto water and make your weight go up.
