HI BP SYMPTOMS: Most typically, symptoms of hi bp include headache, pulsations in temple areas, facial fullness or flushing, sensations of pulsations in neck, hard heart beats, but hi bp could be without any symptoms. IF chest pain evolves or if stroke deficits appear, then hi bp is an emergency.

High Blood Pressure: Patients may or may not have symptoms from high blood pressure and that's why it is sometimes called the silent killer. Severe elevations in BP can put strain on the kidneys, increase risk for heart disease and stroke. Chest pain or discomfort, headache, shortness or breath and leg swelling are serious signs and immediate care is needed in the ER.
