More info: Have you not had a period for a year? Depending on the amount of hormone in the pill, it may really slow down your bleeding. Headaches can be cause by the hormones-notably the estrogen levels. I would see your doctor to discuss possible changing of pills if headaches and cycle type are bothersome. Hope that helps.
