Allergy rash: He may be allergic to a component in that medication. Stop giving him the medication and bring it along with your child to your health care giver to discuss his rash.

Unclear: What symptoms was he having before you gave the Allergex? Its possible if he had a hive with a new food or a small reaction it is the progression of that allergic process. Or it is an allergic reaction to the Allergex, either the chlorpheniramine, or a component of the preparation.
