Not recommended: It is generally not recommended to give sedating antihistamines to children under two. If lips or tongue are swollen or there is trouble breathing, and get an urgent evaluation. A pimple type rash on chest and back could be heat rash, contact dermatitis, insect bites or even chicken pox. An evaluation is recommended.
