Indirectly, yes: Not sure why someone would abruptly hold a beta blocker. That could spike the blood pressure which you generally don't want to do with an AAA due to risk of dissection causing a false lumen. There must have been a good reason; perhaps the heart beat was too slow, the blood pressure too low, or there was an interaction with another med. Find out why & report any new chest, back or belly pain STAT.
