Depends: It really depends on how much of your weight is due to fluid retention and also what your kidney function is like, what your blood pressure is, and how compromised the function of your heart is. One can not answer your question without knowing most if not all of those things.

Yes: Is your kidney function normal? If not, higher doses of lasix/or addition of other diuretics like Metolazone may help. But your renal function and electrolytes would have to be carefully monitored. And follow a low sodium diet strictly.
