Low salt!: If Lasix (furosemide) is not working as expected, consider your diet. Dietary sodium intake > 2000mg daily may overwhelm the diuretic's actions. Also, if you have a kidney dysfunction, the Lasix (furosemide) dose may need to be increased. But please get in the habit of reading food labels carefully, particularly sodium content per serving size. You may be consuming more salt than you realize. Stay well.
