Hep C: The famotidine will help with the acid in your stomach that is refluxing into your throat. However, you should follow up with your hepatologist if you're having abdominal pain. Make sure you stay away from drugs and alcohol and avoid acidic things in your diet so your GERD improves and you can avoid having to take medication. Good luck and hope you feel better soon
