I have barnretts oesaphagus and it is now causing chest pains tightness in throat and breathlessness - i have been prescribed famotidine to go with lansaprazole but it made it worse and caused headaches and dizziness - is there anything else i can t?

If you’re having symptoms such as this, with a history of Barrett’s , it probably means your Gerd is not under good enough control. Be sure to continue your lansoprazole as directed, and you can use antacids as necessary when you get symptoms. You should make a follow up appointment with your G.I. doctor to adjust the dosage of your medicine and see how you are doing. Good luck.
